Hi Guys,

Well I have been at home in my comfort zone for a week now…YAY!

It’s been a busy couple of months as you know traveling to various places both with my family and solo. 

So I wanted to share with you some experiences from my most recent trip where I was in Europe on business and working with my team out there.  So often people come to me asking for advice and ask me how did I get so high up the company, so quickly. 

And sure I have a lot of strategies and I work hard etc, but the one thing that I always speak about is networking!

This is almost a forgotten skill and it is super important whether we are in business or not.

We should always be looking to grow our network.  Networking is not just about making contacts either so that hopefully one day you can get a job or get something from someone.

It is about building a mutually beneficial relationship.  That may be friends, may be acquaintances, mentors, business partners or actual clients and customers…whatever.  That’s the cool thing, we never know where that relationship will lead to.

That is what is so exciting, fulfilling and interesting about striking up a conversation with people wherever you go and networking…you meet all sorts of interesting people that can inspire you, educate you, motivate you, teach you, help you and you can do the same for them.

Everyday we are exposed to so many opportunities to network with people, from being in the grocery store, on the train or bus, at the coffee store, at the gym, in the mall, walking or whatever you are doing.

People are all around us and it is actually very natural for us as humans to engage and interact with others…believe it or not we’re social being.  Although sometimes with technology that seems almost untrue…but I can assure you it is not!
